Struggling to feed a family, let alone pay for medical bills and education, mothers can find themselves pulled into a life of exploitation, simply to make ends meet. On the streets of El Alto, Bolivia, the knock on effect leaves children uncared for and vulnerable to abuse and further exploitation.

Ending this vicious cycle takes initiative and fresh opportunities. And this is what Project Possible is doing. By providing after school support, cooked meals, therapy and fun activities, children in Bolivia are learning that they have remarkable potential to turn their lives around.

These children are young and fragile, impacted on a daily basis by their families' vulnerability and exploitation. Home is often not a safe space and for each of them their future is uncertain. They need the support of a loving community to help uncover a world of possibilities.

Angela is seven years old yet already she has known deep heartache and rejection. For years her father was in prison, but when he came out, he didn’t want to see Angela anymore - only her brothers. She doesn’t understand why he won’t see her and suffers with the painful rejection.

But thanks to Project Possible, Angela’s story is beginning to shift. Through regular contact with children's workers, Angela is beginning to show signs of healing and building resilience for the future.

Your monthly gift will support one of 60 children over 12 months as they receive daily meals, medical care, counselling sessions, educational workshops and much more at the House of Hope.

Your financial support will also reach wider into the local community as families are connected with churches and given the chance to really become established.
