Samuel's story
Unlock their academic potential
For Samuel, a young Kenyan man, attending school and getting a university degree has been life-changing.
When Samuel was a young boy, he had to leave home because his grandmother could not provide for him. As a result, he had to fend for himself on the streets of Naivasha, Kenya.
With support from our partners, he was given a safe place to stay and the opportunity to catch up on his education. Today, Samuel is close to graduating with a degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management. He is earning a small income alongside his studies by selling ice cream. He has become a resilient, outgoing young man with a strong supportive community behind him, and he now has doors of possibility open for his future.
