Once you book your place, you'll be invited to join our Hike for Hope 2024 Facebook group (where we will communicate key information with you, as well as encourage one another, share training progress and offer fundraising tips to smash your £120 target). Alternatively, you can choose to receive key information via email.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with us at [email protected] or call us on 01494 433170

Will I receive the route before the event?

Yes, if you are joining us for the Chiltern Hills, we will send out the routes before the 5th October. If you plan to pick your own location, the route is completely up to you.

How difficult will the hike be?

For the Chiltern Hills there will be moderate climbs along the way, but there will be checkpoints for short intervals.

There is a shorter 8-mile option for supporters who would still love to be a part of the Chiltern Hills location. Additionally, depending on the number of hikers who sign up, we may organise different pace groups.

If you’re concerned about the level of difficulty or you are seeking a greater challenge, you have the option to choose your own route, according to your preferences.

Will any portion of the donations raised go to event costs and admin?

No, the funds raised, including your booking fee, will not be used towards the running of the event.

How will I receive updates about the event?

After booking your place, you will be invited to join our Facebook group. This is where we will communicate key information with you and where you can connect with our community, share training progress, and get fundraising tips to smash your target!

Alternatively, we will be sending all vital information via email. In the event of an emergency, we will use the telephone number you provide.

How can I raise money?

We recommend all hikers use JustGiving to raise funds. It’s easy to share your page with your friends and family, track your fundraising progress, and even create a team with other fundraisers if you’re hiking as a group.

If you’re unable to use JustGiving, please get in touch, and we can provide alternative methods of collecting and recording funds.

Where will the money be used?

Funds raised will go towards the whole of our work in igniting hope-filled futures in overlooked communities. This includes both our Next Generation Projects and Spark Projects.

Our Next Generation Projects help overlooked communities lift themselves out of the feelings of shame and powerlessness caused by disadvantage and material poverty. Together we open doors of possibility so they can discover their true worth in Christ and unlock their God-given potential.

As they realise their potential, they become empowered to form ideas to provide for themselves. Our Spark Projects offer short-term investments so they can turn their ideas into reality and begin building sustainable futures.
