Earlier this year, Kenya recently reinstated restrictions in response to rising Covid-19 infections in the country. This has meant that the Further Education students Project Possible supports in Kenya had to return to relatives or foster homes and also meant a return to remote learning.
Thanks to the generous response to our Lifeline gift Online Learning Package at Christmas, we have been able to ensure all the FE students, such as Benson (pictured), had a laptop to work from as well as stationery, data bundles and access to printing.
Many of these young men started their lives in difficult circumstances and some with times of homelessness as children, so it is wonderful that we are able to ensure their further education can continue even with the impact of Covid-19.
