Africa Roundtable in Kenya

In February, our Projects Team went to Kenya to participate in the Lausanne movement, Africa Roundtable on Generosity and Fundraising conference.

It was a joy and privilege for the team to join the discussion, which is at the heart of Project Possible’s work: fighting unhealthy dependency and building sustainability.

More than 60 leaders, ministry founders, theologians, mission mobilisers and fundraisers from Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Ethiopia, Uganda, Malawi, Burkina Faso, Angola, Chad and beyond gathered together.

Together, they shared what God is doing through African Christians in holistic mission – mobilising resources and changing posture from dependency on external funds to healthy collaboration.

We give thanks for this wonderful opportunity for our projects team to meet with like-minded leaders. Please pray for all who participated, including Project Possible, that they would be instrumental in sparking change in the communities we work with.

I really enjoyed networking with others who share the same aims in sustainability.
